At 1AYQ, we believe in investing in the next generation of safe, professional truck drivers. That is why we are proud to introduce to 1AYQ Professional Driver Scholarships一designed to help aspiring drivers cover the cost of the Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT) Program.
1A Yorkton-Qu’appelle School (1AYQ) is offering Two FULL RIDE 1A license scholarships.
Inclusions
- Two FULL RIDE 1A license scholarships.
- Includes complete MELT training, accommodations and all course materials.
- All you need to bring is a clear mind and your lunch!
General Information
- The training program is 4-5 weeks

Eligibility
- Must be 18 by the start of the course.
- Must have a fully Graduated Drivers License by the start of the course.
- Must have completed 1A Learners written tests for Class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Sign & Airbrake.
Application Process
- The application process is simple and easy!
- Make a video (two minute maximum) featuring;
- Your name & age
- Where you are from
- your goals
- Interest in trucking
*In order to submit your video, you must provide a URL. The easiest way to do that is post it on youtube, then copy and send the video link.
Selection Process
- One selection is chosen by the Board of Directors
- The second is by random draw from applicants that meet all requirements
